Saucepan rice pudding

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 cups Milk
½ cup Long grain rice
cup Raisins
1 tablespoon Butter
¼ cup Sugar
¼ teaspoon Ground cinnamon

Directions

In heavy med saucepan bring milk to boiling; stir in uncooked rice, raisins & ¼ tsp. salt. Cover; cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, for 30 to 40 minutes or till most of the milk is absorbed. (Mixture may appear to be curdled.) Spoon into dessert dishes. Dot with butter & sprinkle with a mixture of the sugar & cinnamon. Serves 6.
