Sauteed okra with cumin

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
6 tablespoons Unsalted butter -; (3/4 stick)
pounds Okra; stemmed, washed
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Freshly-ground black pepper
teaspoon Ground cumin

Directions

Melt butter over high heat in a medium saute pan. Saute okra with all seasonings 2 to 3 minutes. Reduce heat to moderate and cook, stirring occasionally, an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot. This recipe yields 6 servings.
