Sauteed okra with cumin

6 | tablespoons | Unsalted butter -; (3/4 stick) |
1½ | pounds | Okra; stemmed, washed |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
½ | teaspoon | Freshly-ground black pepper |
1½ | teaspoon | Ground cumin |
Directions
Melt butter over high heat in a medium saute pan. Saute okra with all seasonings 2 to 3 minutes. Reduce heat to moderate and cook, stirring occasionally, an additional 5 minutes. Serve hot. This recipe yields 6 servings.
