Shrimp creole on web

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 pounds Baby shrimp
3 tablespoons Butter
1 cup Onions; coarsely chopped
1 cup Green pepper; chopped
1 cup Zucchini; chopped
1 cup Celery; chopped
2 Cloves garlic; pressed
4 larges Tomatoes; chopped
8 ounces Tomato sauce
½ teaspoon Pepper
2 teaspoons Shredded fresh lemon peel
teaspoon Cloves; (actually only 1/16 tsp)
1 Bay leaf
1 teaspoon Thyme
1 teaspoon Honey
3 tablespoons Parsley

Directions

In a large saucepan, saute onon, green pepper, zucchini, and celery till tender in butter. Add garlic and tomatoes, bring to a boil. Reduce heat and add tomato sauce, pepper, lemon peel, cloves, bay, thyme, and honey. Simmer 15-20 minutes, stir in shrimp and heat thoroughly. Serve over hot rice. Add hot pepper sauce if desired.
