Simple - honest potato pudding

Ingredients

2 | cups | Grated raw potatoes |
1 | cup | Thinly sliced onions |
1 | cup | Grated carrots |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Pepper |
¼ | teaspoon | Savory or marjoram |
2 | tablespoons | Cream |
2 | tablespoons | Butter |
Directions
Mix together the potatoes, onions, carrots, salt and pepper. Mix and add the cream. Place in a generously buttered pudding dish. Dot with the butter. Cover and bake in a preheated 350 degree F oven for 45 minutes.
Uncover and bake another 15 minutes or until a thin golden crust has formed.
NOTES : During a summer I spent in Summerside, our hostess was named Dolly.
She was vivacious, always neat as a pin, and a good cook to top it. She gave me this recipe.
