8 | ounces | Low fat or no fat cream cheese; room temperature |
6 | Scallions; cleaned and minced | |
1 | teaspoon | Sweet paprika |
1 | dash | Worcestershire sauce |
2 | drops | Natural liquid smoke flavor |
2 | Pieces soft flat breads as for sandwich wraps or | |
; 4 large fresh tortillas | ||
1 | Romaine heart shredded |
Directions
Break apart tuna on several layers on paper towel and top with two more layers of paper towel. Press out as much moisture as possible. Using a fork, mash together the tuna, scallions, cream cheese, paprika, worcestershire and liquid smoke in a bowl. Spread evenly over bread or tortillas and, top with lettuce and roll up like a jelly roll. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap until serving. Serve as sandwiches for lunch or cut into one inch slices for appetizers. The tuna/cream cheese blend is also great on a bagel with a slice of tomato and onions for breakfast or brunch.
