Spareribs with barbecue sauce (pressure cooker)

Quantity Ingredient
3 pounds Spareribs
Salt and pepper
Parika
1 tablespoon Shortening
1 large Onion; sliced
1/4 c Catsup
2 tablespoons Vinegar
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
teaspoon Chili powder
1/4 ts Celery seed
1/2 c Water

Directions

Cut ribs into serving pieces. Season with salt, pepper, & parika. Heat Cooker and add shortening. Brown ribs on both sides. Add onion. Combine catsup, vinegar, Worchestershire sauce, chili powder, celery seed, and water. Pour over meat in Cooker. Close cover securely. Place Pressure Regulator on vent pipe and cook 15 min. with Pressure Regulator rocking slowly. Let pressure drop of its own accord.
