½ | Red onion, sliced into rings
1 | Tomato, chopped | |
1 | cup | Fresh spinach, torn into bite-size |
3 | Cloves garlic, chopped
1 | tablespoon | Italian seasoning |
2 | cups | Mozzarella cheese, fat free, shredded |
Pizza dough, recipe follows
Spaghetti sauce (for dipping) |
Directions
Preheat oven to 450 degrees. Prepare baking sheet with cooking spray.
Prepare onion, tomato, and spinach, then mix together with the seasoning and garlic.
Prepare the dough and stretch onto baking sheet into an oval shape. Spread half the cheese onto the dough, leaving about ½" on all sides without cheese. Next, spread all the tomato spinach filling onto the cheese. Last, spread the rest of the cheese on top.
Bring the two longer sides of the dough around the filling so they meet in the center, then press them together. (This will make a long cylindrical shape.) Pinch together the ends to seal it. Bake 7 to 10 minutes until the crust is a golden brown.
Slice and serve with heated spaghetti sauce for dipping.
