Spinach with basil (shaker)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
4 pounds Fresh spinach
6 eaches Sprigs parsley; chopped
4 eaches Green onions; chopped
¼ cup Butter or margarine
2 teaspoons Salt
½ teaspoon Pepper
1 teaspoon Dried whole basil

Directions

Remove stems from spinach; wash leaves thoroughly, and tear into pieces. Place all ingredients in a large Dutch oven (do not add water). Cover, and cook over medium-high heat for 5 minutes or until spinach is limp.
