Sprouts-stuffed canapes

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pack Canapes of desired shape
1 cup Bean sprouts
½ cup Finely chopped onion
½ cup Finely chopped tomato
¼ cup Finely chopped coriander
¼ cup Finely chopped boiled potato
½ Lemon
Salt to taste
Freshly ground cummin seed powder
4 Green chillies finely chopped; (4 to 5)
1 cup Fine bikaneri sev; (optional)
½ cup Tamarind chutney
½ cup Green chutney
Oil to deep fry or oven to bake

Directions

If using readymade canapes, they can be baked in a warm pre-heated oven till light-brown and crisp.

OR

Deep fry them till light brown. Drain on kitchen towel. Do all the canapes and keep them aside.

Mix the onion, tomato, potatoes, half the coriander, lemon, salt and green chilli together. Chill it for some time.

Before serving fill mixture in the canapes, put a dash of both chutneys on top. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and cummin powder (jeera). Garnish with sev and remaining coriander.

Serve right away.
