1 | tablespoon | Black Pepper, Ground |

Directions
Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Rub the roast with the oil. Rub on the pepper. Roast for 30 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 325 degrees. Roast until a meat thermometer inserted in the thickest part of the meat (but not touching a bone) reads 130 degrees (about 1¼ hours) for medium rare.
