Steamed stuffed jumbo shrimp

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
12 Jumbo shrimp
½ teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Sugar
¼ teaspoon White pepper
½ teaspoon Sesame oil
2 teaspoons Soy sauce
1 tablespoon Scallions finely chopped
2 teaspoons Fresh grated ginger
Water

Directions

1) Use sharp knife to cut down back of the shrimp; keeping shell on, devein shrimp.

2) Mix salt, sugar, pepper, sesame oil, soy sauce, scallions, and ginger together in a bowl; spoon mixture into cut section of each shrimp, pressing down well.

3) Place shrimp on oiled platter and set rack in large pot or steamer. Fill with water to level of rack. Cover tightly and steam over high heat for 8 minutes. Remove from heat; serve with boiled rice. Submitted By VERNON PHIPPS On 09-09-95
