Strawberry cheesecake trifle

Ingredients

1 | Angel food cake torn into bite size pieces | |
2 | packs | (8 oz) cream cheese (light is fine) |
2 | cups | Icing sugar |
1 | cup | Sour cream; (light is fine, again) |
1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
½ | pint | Whipping cream; (250 ml) |
2 | quarts | Fresh strawberries; thinly sliced |
3 | tablespoons | Sugar |
2 | tablespoons | Strawberry Jello; (provides stability to strawberry layer, doesn't alter flavour), up to 3 |
Directions
Combine strawberries ,sugar and strawberry jello. Cream together cream cheese and icing sugar; add sour cream and vanilla. Whip cream. Fold whipped cream into cream cheese mixture. Add cake pieces to this. Layer together in large glass bowl starting with cake / cheese mixture and ending with strawberries. (Three layers of each). Cover with plastic wrap and leave overnight.
