Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Ground beef
2 tablespoons Flour
1 Egg -- slightly beaten
¾ cup Water
1 teaspoon Salt
¼ cup Heinz 57 sauce
dash Pepper
¼ cup Minced parsley
2 tablespoons Shortening
cup Dairy sour cream
4 ounces Can mushroom stems and
Piece
Hot buttered noodles
cup Chopped onion

Directions

Lightly combine first 4 ingredients. Form into 16 meatballs. In large skillet partially brown meatballs in shortening. Drain off excess fat.

Drain mushrooms, reserving liquid. Stir mushrooms and onion nto skillet; saute until onion is tender. Stir in flour, then reserved mushroom liquid, water, 57 sauce, and parsley. Cover; simmer 25 minutes, stirring occasionally. Slowly stir in sour cream; heat. Do not boil. Serve immediately over noodles.
