Sugared walnuts - pat gorsuch

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Sugar
6 tablespoons Milk
½ teaspoon Cinnamon
½ teaspoon Vanilla
2 cups Walnuts (whole or halves)

Directions

Combine sugar, milk and cinnamon in sauce pan and cook to 242 deg. or "soft ball" stage. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and walnuts. When walnuts are well coated withthe "syrup"..Spread out on Wax paper to cool. Break apart and store in Jars. Excellent at Xmas or as a "thank you" gift to someone.
