Sweet and sour pickled beets

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Cooked (can be canned) beets sliced or cubed
Vinegar to half cover
6 Allspice Berries
(or 1/8 t. powder)
5 Whole Cloves
6 Peppercorns, lightly bruised
1 Stick Cinnamon
4 tablespoons Sugar
Water to cover completely

Directions

Let marinate for a couple of days in the refrigerator, then serve.
