Sweet milk corn bread

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Corn meal
cup Milk
4 tablespoons Shortening; melted
1 teaspoon Salt
1 cup Flour; white
2 eaches Eggs; well beaten
2 tablespoons Sugar
3 tablespoons Baking powder

Directions

Stir all together. Pour in baking pan. Brush top with melted butter and bake in moderate oven 25 minutes.

Note: Moderate oven is 350 - 400 F.
