Sweet milk corn bread

2 | cups | Corn meal |
1½ | cup | Milk |
4 | tablespoons | Shortening; melted |
1 | teaspoon | Salt |
1 | cup | Flour; white |
2 | eaches | Eggs; well beaten |
2 | tablespoons | Sugar |
3 | tablespoons | Baking powder |
Directions
Stir all together. Pour in baking pan. Brush top with melted butter and bake in moderate oven 25 minutes.
Note: Moderate oven is 350 - 400 F.
