1 | cup | Brown sugar; firmly packed |
½ | cup | Margarine or butter |
1 | Jar apricot preserves-10 oz | |
1 | teaspoon | Vanilla |
2 | Eggs | |
1¾ | cup | All purpose flour |
½ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
½ | teaspoon | Baking soda |
1 | cup | Bananas; thinly sliced about 2 medium |
¾ | cup | Nuts; chopped (your choice) |

Directions
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 13 x 9-inch pan. In large bowl, combine brown sugar, margarine, preserves, vanilla, and eggs; blend well. Lightly spoon flour into measuring cup; level off. By hand, stir in remaining ingredients except powdered sugar; mix just until blended. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool completely; sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into bars. Makes 36 bars. 2 bars = 228 calories, 8 g fat.
