Tea time tassies (nut cups)

3 ounces Softened cream cheese
1 Stick butter or margarine
1 cup Flour
¼ teaspoon Salt
1 cup Brown sugar
1 large Egg
2 tablespoons Soft butter/margarine
1 teaspoon Vanilla
cup Ground nuts; (almonds)

Notes: By Stacy Wolfe, Lehighton Area HS. The Times News, PA Mix ingredients for crust. Divide dough into 12 equal balls. Put 1 in each divider of cupcake pan. Shape with fingers into little crusts.

Mix ingredients for filling. Place filling in the little crusts and bake approximately 30 minutes at 350°. Makes 1 dozen cupcake size nut cups.
