Wagon wheels with creamy salmon

250 | grams | Pasta, wagon-wheel shaped |
2 | tablespoons | Butter or margarine |
2 | tablespoons | Flour |
1 | cup | Milk |
1 | can | Salmon (7 1/2 oz.) drained |
2 | tablespoons | Lemon juice |
2 | Green onions, finely chopped | |
1 | tablespoon | Parsley, fresh, chopped fine |
1 | Celery stalk, finely chopped | |
½ | cup | Grated Parmesan cheese |
Salt and pepper to taste |
Directions
Cook pasta according to package directions. Meanwhile, in saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add flour; cook and stir for 1 minute.
Gradually add milk, stirring until bubbly and thickened. Remove from heat and stir in salmon, lemon juice, onions, parsley and celery.
Toss wagon wheels with Parmesan cheese and sauce. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
