Wiener corn bread

¼ cup Margarine;
1 cup All-purpose flour;
1 pounds (1 cn) pork & beans w tomato sauce
cup Ketchup frankfurters, franks)*
1 cup Cornmeal;
¼ cup Granulated sugar;
4 teaspoons Baking powder;
½ teaspoon Salt;
2 Eggs;
1 cup Milk;
½ teaspoon Dry mustard;
2 tablespoons Brown sugar; firmly packed

*Hot dog, hotdog, frankfurters, franks are keywords for the grandsons to find the recipe in the database. Heat Oven to hot 425 degrees.

Grease an 11" X 7" pyrex baking dish. Open wieners along cut edge.

Cut side up facing up, place wieners in bottom of baking dish so that they lay flat. In saucepan, saute onion and green pepper in 1 tb of the butter until tender, about 5 minutes. In mixing bowl, sift together flour, cornmeal, sugar, baking powder and salt. Melt remaining butter in saucepan containing sauteed dry ingredients.

Stir in eggs and milk combined. Pour over wieners, spreading to cover completely. Bake in preheated 425 degrees oven 25 to 30 minutes. FOR SAUCE: Combine all ingredients.
