Zorros' dip sauce

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 tablespoon Olive oil
½ Texas onion
1 Clove garlic
1 can Tomatoes; (14oz.)
2 tablespoons Tomato paste
½ teaspoon Red pepper powder
½ teaspoon Cummin powder
1 Fresh jalepeno pepper finely diced
1 teaspoon Black pepper
Salt to taste

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan and simmer for ten to twelve minutes. Remove and let cool. Puree in food processor until smooth and even. Return to sauce pan and let simmer for 15 minutes.
