Avon's casserole

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Ground meat (beef; pork, sausage or any combination)
1 can (10-oz) onion soup
1 can (10-oz) chicken broth
¾ cup Raw rice
½ cup Water
½ cup Onion; chopped
½ cup Bell pepper; chopped
½ cup Celery; chopped
small Amount of oil
Salt & pepper to taste
Bread or cracker crumbs

Directions

Saut‚ meat in a little oil until pink disappears. Grease casserole; put in meat. Saut‚ onions, bell peppers and celery. Mix uncooked rice and other ingredients together and place in casserole; cover. Bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for 45 minutes. Uncover; sprinkle with bread or cracker crumbs and bake until lightly brown, about 20 ninutes. Serves 8 to 10.
