Basic shortbread

3 dozen

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 pounds Butter
1 cup Icing Sugar
3 cups Flour
¼ cup Cornstarch

Directions

Cream butter, add icing sugar and cream well. Add flour and cornstarch. Beat until light and fluffy. Drop from teaspoon onto ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with a fork or fingers. Bake at 350 for 12 minutes.
