Beef and bean burritos

Ingredients

16 ounces Jar Chunky Salsa
1 pounds Ground beef
16 ounces Can refried beans
4 ounces Can green chilies; drained
ounce Pkg taco seasoning mix
8 eaches Flour tortillas (7\" - 8\")
¾ cup Lettuce; shredded
¾ cup Cheese; shredded (3 oz)

Directions

Drain salsa, reserving ½ cup liquid. In a large skillet, brown ground beef; drain fat. Add beans, chopped green chilies, taco seasoning mix and reserved salsa liquid. Bring to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Heat tortillas according to package directions.

To assemble burritos, spoon about ⅓ cup beef mixture just below center of each tortilla. Add 1 heaping tablespoon each of drained salsa, lettuce and cheese to each tortilla. Fold bottom edge of each tortilla up and over just until filling is covered. Fold opposite sides of tortilla in, just until they meet. Roll up from the bottom.

MICROWAVE DIRECTIONS Drain salsa, reserving ½ cup liquid. Crumble ground beef into large microwave safe bowl. Microwave on high (100 percent) 4 to 6 minutes or until no longer pink, stirring once.

Drain; return meat to bowl. Stir in beans, chilies, taco seasoning and reserved salsa liquid. Microwave, uncovered, on high 7 minutes, stirring twice. Assemble burritos as directed above.
