Blueberry molasses cake

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 cup Sugar
1 cup Oil
4 Eggs
2 cups Molasses
4 cups All-purpose flour
2 teaspoons Salt
2 teaspoons Cinnamon
1 teaspoon Ginger
1 teaspoon Allspice
½ teaspoon Cloves
2 teaspoons Baking soda
1 cup Hot water
3 cups Frozen or fresh blueberries

Directions

In a large bowl whip together the sugar, oil, eggs, and molasses. In a seperate bowl, sift together the dry ingredients. Add to the molasses mixture alternately with baking soda dissolved in hot water.

Add the blueberries and pour into a greased 12x16-inch sheet pan.

bake in a 325 oven for 1 hour or until the cake tests done.
