Bramborova polevka zasmazena (creamed potato soup)

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
pounds Potatoes, peeled, cubed
½ cup Onion, chopped
3 ounces Root vegetables, chopped
cup Shortening
cup Flour
6 cups Water
3 ounces Mushrooms, fresh
Salt
1 each Garlic clove, crushed
1 pinch Marjoram
Parsley, chopped

Directions

Fry root vegetables in the shortening. Sprinkle with flour and fry until golden brown. Cover with cold water, stir well. Add mushrooms and potatoes, boil for about 20 minutes. Finally, add garlic, salt, marjoram and reheat. Flavor with chopped parsley as needed.
