INGREDIENTS
Soak 8 10-inch-long bamboo skewers in hot water to cover for about 30 minutes. Meanwhile, in a wide frying pan, cook the bacon over medium heat until some of the fat has cooked out and the bacon begins to brown, (3 to 4 minutes. The bacon should NOT be crisp). Drain, then cut each slice in half, lengthwise. Shell Shrimp (leaving the tails on) and devein. Wrap a bacon half-slice around each shrimp. Thread the shrimp on a pair of skewers (4 Shrimp Per Pair Of Skewers. Thread so that the head of one is against the tail of the other and so that it holds the bacon slice on for grilling). Place the skewered shrimp on the rack of a broiler pan and broil, about 4-inches below the heat, turning once, until the bacon is golden brown and the shrimp are just opaque in the center, cutting to test, (6 to 10 minutes).
