Brown honey scones

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 cups Wholemeal
teaspoon Baking powder
½ teaspoon Salt
1 tablespoon Butter
2 tablespoons Honey
1 cup Milk, approx

Directions

Mix wholemeal, salt and bakingpowder. Rub in the butter. Dissolve the honey in the milk, add to dry ingredients and mix to a soft dough.

Rollout, cut out, and bake on a cookie sheet for 10 - 12 minutes at 425 degrees. (recipe from Edmonds Sure To Rise NZ Cookbook)
