Caramel rich layer bars

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 packs Jiffy ® devil's food cake mix
Sticks melted butter
cup Evaporated milk; (separate in half)
1 14 ounces pk caramels
½ Bag; (11-1/2 oz) milk chocolate chips
1 cup Chopped pecans

Directions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Blend cake mix, butter and ⅓ cup evaporated milk in a large bowl. Divide dough in half. 3. Press ½ dough into 9 x 13 pan and bake for six (6) minutes. 4. Sprinkle chips and nuts on chocolate cake layer. 5. Melt caramels and remaining ⅓ cup evaporated milk and drizzle over the chocolate chips. 6. Put remaining dough on top by spoonful, making sure caramel shows through.

Notes: Yield: 24 Large Bars
