Caramel rich layer bars

2 | packs | Jiffy ® devil's food cake mix |
1½ | Sticks melted butter | |
⅔ | cup | Evaporated milk; (separate in half) |
1 | 14 ounces pk caramels | |
½ | Bag; (11-1/2 oz) milk chocolate chips | |
1 | cup | Chopped pecans |
Directions
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Blend cake mix, butter and ⅓ cup evaporated milk in a large bowl. Divide dough in half. 3. Press ½ dough into 9 x 13 pan and bake for six (6) minutes. 4. Sprinkle chips and nuts on chocolate cake layer. 5. Melt caramels and remaining ⅓ cup evaporated milk and drizzle over the chocolate chips. 6. Put remaining dough on top by spoonful, making sure caramel shows through.
