2 | cups | Onion; chopped |
½ | cup | Tomatoes; chopped peeled |
3 | tablespoons | Packed brown sugar; |
3 | tablespoons | Apple cider vinegar; |
3 | cloves | Garlic; minced |
2 | larges | Bay leaves; |
½ | teaspoon | Ground cinnamon; |
¼ | teaspoon | Ground cloves; |
¼ | teaspoon | Black pepper; |
Directions
In a 5 quart Dutch oven or pot over medium-high heat, bring the pineapple, onions, tomatoes, sugar, vinegar, garlic, bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves and pepper to at boil. Boil, uncovered, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes. Stir in the chicken and return the mixture to a boil. Reduce the heat to low.
