Chicken with cumin and garlic

2 | pounds | Skinless chicken pieces |
1 | teaspoon | Ground cumin |
¼ | teaspoon | Each salt, pepper and hot pepper flakes |
3 | Cloves garlic, minced | |
2 | Whole cloves | |
2 | teaspoons | Lemon or lime juice |
¼ | cup | Chopped fresh coriander or parsley |
Directions
In large nonstick, heat oil over medium-high heat; brown chicken on all sides.
Sprinkle cumin, salt, pepper and hot pepper flakes over chicken. Add 1 cup water, garlic, cloves and lemon juice. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Discard cloves. Remove chicken to platter; keep warm.
Boil liquid in pan for about 5 minutes or until reduced to about ¼ cup.
