Chicken with cumin and garlic

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
1 tablespoon Vegetable oil
2 pounds Skinless chicken pieces
1 teaspoon Ground cumin
¼ teaspoon Each salt, pepper and hot pepper flakes
3 Cloves garlic, minced
2 Whole cloves
2 teaspoons Lemon or lime juice
¼ cup Chopped fresh coriander or parsley

Directions

In large nonstick, heat oil over medium-high heat; brown chicken on all sides.

Sprinkle cumin, salt, pepper and hot pepper flakes over chicken. Add 1 cup water, garlic, cloves and lemon juice. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes. Discard cloves. Remove chicken to platter; keep warm.

Boil liquid in pan for about 5 minutes or until reduced to about ¼ cup.
