Chile beer damper

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
3 cups All-purpose flour
3 teaspoons Double acting baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt
2 teaspoons Sugar
1 tablespoon Red chiles, such as piquins
24 ounces Beer

Directions

Recipe by: Sally Hammond Preheat oven to 350 F.

Mix all the ingredients together until well combined. Spoon the mixture in a greased bread pan and smooth the top.

Bake for 1 hour, or until golden brown and the loaf appears done. Cool on rack.

Serving Suggestions: May be served topped with Chile Cream Cheese.
