1 pounds Ground beef
1 tablespoon Corn oil
1 cup Onions,chopped
½ Bell pepper,finely chopped
1 Chili pepper,fresh or canned
Finely chopped
1 clove Garlic,minced
3 tablespoons Chili powder
1 tablespoon Cumin,ground
2 teaspoons Corriander,ground
2 teaspoons Oregano,dried
1 tablespoon Flour
1 cup Tomato puree
5 cups Beef broth
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
3 cups Kidney beans,cooked

Brown 1 lb.ground beef in 1 tbs.corn oil.Add 1 cup chopped onion,½ finely chopped bell pepper,1 finely chopped canned or fresh chili pepper and 1 clove minced garlic.Cook until onion is soft.Add 3 tbs.chili powder, 1 tbs.ground cumin,and 2 tbs.each ground corriander and dried oregano;cook 1 minute more.Add 1 tbs.flour;cook until flour is completely absorbed.Add 1 cup tomato puree and 5 cups beef broth,and salt and pepper to taste. Bring to boil and simmer 20 minutes.Add 3 cups cooked kidney beans and simmer 5 minutes more....

MEATBALL CHILI SOUP Follow recipe for Chili Beef Soup.In place of ground beef make following mixture.Mix 1 lb.ground turkey with 1 tbs.ketchup,1 tsp.mustard,1 slice crumbled bread in 2 tbs.milk,1 small beaten egg,and salt and pepper to taste.Mix well; form into 2 doz. meatballs.Brown meatballs in oil.Remove and return to soup after it comes to boil...
