Chocolate chip cookies

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Butter or margarine
1 cup C and H Powdered Sugar unsifted
1 Egg
1 teaspoon Vanilla
cup All-purpose flour
½ teaspoon Baking soda
½ teaspoon Salt
6 ounces Chocolate pieces
½ cup Chopped walnuts

Directions

Beat together butter and sugar until smooth. Add egg and vanilla; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda and salt. Mix into creamed mixture. Fold in chocolate pieces and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375-degree oven 10-12 minutes. Cool on rack.
