8 Servings
Ingredients
Quantity | Ingredient | |
---|---|---|
2 | cans | (16-18 oz) pork & beans |
1 | Packed brown sugar | |
1 | teaspoon | Dry mustard |
½ | pounds | Salt pork; cut in strips |
½ | cup | Ketchup |
½ | cup | Chopped green onions; with some tops |
Directions
Preheat oven to 350. Combine all ingredients & pour into a 2- to 3-quart casserole. Bake, uncovered, 2 to 2-½ hours or until sauce is thick & beans are dark & crusty on top. If time is short, you may decrease cooking time to 1 hour, but the beans will not be as tasty. Makes 8 servings.
