Coconut pecan frosting

Quantity Ingredient
½ cup Evaporated milok
cup Sugar
2 tablespoons Butter
1 each Egg
teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Vanilla
cup Flaked coconut
½ cup Chopped pecans

Directions

In a saucepan, combine evaporate milk, sugar, butter, egg and salt.

Cook over medium heat until thickened. Remove from heat and cool slightly. Add vanilla, coconut and pecans. Cool completely before spreading over favorite cake. Origin: Sharon's recipe files Shared by: Sharon Stevens, Jan/95.
