Cranberry nut bread 2

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
2 cups Flour
1 cup Sugar
teaspoon Baking powder
1 teaspoon Salt
½ teaspoon Baking soda
¾ cup Orange juice
1 tablespoon Orange zest; grated
2 tablespoons Shortening
1 Extra large egg
cup Cranberries; coarsely crushed
½ cup Nuts; chopped

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Mix dry ingredients together. Stir in orange juice, zest, shortening and egg until well blended. Stir in cranberries and nuts. Turn into greased 9x5" loaf. Bake for 55 minutes.
