¼ | cup | Celery,diced |
½ | cup | Green bell pepper,chopped |
¾ | pounds | Ground beef,lean |
1 | tablespoon | Flour,all-purpose |
1 | can | Red beans w/chili gravy(16oz |
1 | cup | Water |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | teaspoon | Hot pepper sauce |
1 | teaspoon | Steak sauce |
Crackers | ||
Rice,cooked |
Directions
1. Heat oil in large skillet; saute onion, celery and bell pepper until golden.
2. Stir in beef; saute until red color disapppears. 3. Stir in flour; add kidney beans, water, salt, pepper sauce and steak sauce.
4. Simmer, stirring often, until desired thickness. 5. Serve with crackers or rice.
