Dog/cat biscuit recipe

Ingredients

3½ cup All-purpose flour
1 cup Rye flour
1 cup Corn meal
2 cups Wheat germ
½ cup Powdered milk -- (non-fat,
Dry)
1 tablespoon Salt
1 pack Dry yeast
2 cups Chicken stock -- (for cats)
OR beef stock( -- for dogs)
1 Egg -- *
2 tablespoons Milk *
Food coloring
Cookie cutters

Directions

Mix all ingredients (except egg and milk) together in a large mixing bowl and form dough. Roll the dough out to ¼ inch to ½ inch thick. Cut out different shapes your pet will like with cookie cutters. Put the cut treats on a cookie sheet and brush with a mixture of one beaten egg and 2 Tablespoons milk. Bake 40-45 minutes at 300 degrees. You can add a few drops of food coloring to make different colored pet treats. Refrigerate these treats until you use them.
