2 | tablespoons | Sugar or brown sugar |
2 | teaspoons | Salt |
1 | tablespoon | Fresh-ground black pepper |
1 | teaspoon | Cayenne or hot red pepper flakes |
Directions
Preparation: Combine in a bowl and stir to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
