1 | pounds | Flour |
3 | ounces | Shredded suet |

Directions
Beat steak with rolling pin,then cut into narrow strips.Cut these into inch lengths and season with salt and pepper.Divide into three portions.Add a pinch of salt to the flour and make into a stiff dough with water (no fat is used).Roll out into three oval-shaped pieces.Cover half of each oval with the meat,sprinkle with the shredded suet and a little minced onion if desired.Damp edges,fold over and crimp with finger and thumb.Nip a small hole in the top of each.Bake for about 30 minutes in a hot oven,450 degrees f.(regulo 8).
