Ingredients

| 2 | Eggs for chewy bars or 3 eggs for cake bars | |
| 1 | Whole can pie filling; (21 oz.) | |
| ½ | cup | Chopped nuts (optional) |
| 2 | cups | Powdered sugar |
| 1 | Whole pkg. cream cheese; (8 oz.) softened | |
| 3 | tablespoons | Cocoa |
Directions
FROSTING
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large mixing bowl, combine mix, eggs, pie filling and nuts. Spread this mixture on a greased jellyroll pan. Bake 30 minutes. For Frosting: Combine ingredients in bowl and spread over cooled cake. Cut into bars. Yield: 12 to 15 servings. Variations: Chocolate cake mix, cherry pie filling. Spice cake mix, apple pie filling. Banana cake mix, blueberry pie filling. Strawberry cake mix, strawberry pie filling.
