French-fried onions

Ingredients

4 larges Onions, white
1 cup Milk
2 Eggs; beaten
2 cups Flour, self-rising
Oil, salad
Salt

Directions

Cut onions into ¼" slices and separate into rings. Combine milk and eggs; soak onion rings in milk-egg mixture for 2 hours. Drain. Dredge onion rings in flour, and dip again in milk-egg mixture. Dredge in flour again, and deep fry in oil heated to 365 degrees. Drain on absorbent paper. Salt and serve immediately.
