Fried catfish, sole, shrimp or oysters

cup Cornmeal
cup Flour
cup Cornstarch
½ teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Finely ground black pepper
1 teaspoon Paprika
½ teaspoon Cayenne
2 Dozen oysters; shrimp or Catfish Filets or Sole filets
1 cup Buttermilk
Veg oil for deep frying; (360-375 deg. F.)

Directions

Prepare like Beer Batter I, but only dip the fish in the buttermilk, Do not use the milk in the batter. Cook for 3-4 minutes.
