Fried mamaliga

Mamaliga
3 Eggs, lightly beaten
3 cups Grated Parmesan or romano cheese
2 tablespoons Oil

Directions

Source: _The Jewish-American Kitchen_ by Raymond Sokolov Cut cold mamaliga into 2" squares. Dip the pieces in the beaten eggs and then in the cheese.

Heat the oil in a skillet and add the coated mamaliga. Fry until browned on both sides. Serve with sour cream or yogurt.
