Fried swiss chard

2 | pounds | Fresh Swiss Chard |
6 | tablespoons | Vegetable oil |
pinch | Of turmeric | |
¾ | teaspoon | Ground cummin |
½ | teaspoon | Ground coriander |
½ | teaspoon | Salt |
¼ | cup | Chopped peanuts |
Directions
Wash and finely chop Swiss chard. Boil ¼ cup water. Add chopped chard, cover, and cook about 6 minutes or until tender. Drain well.
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and add turmeric, ground cumin, coriander and salt. Add chard and continue cooking and stirring, over medium-low heat, about 5 more minutes.
