Fruit and cheese pockets

½ cup Cottage cheese; lowfat
½ cup Cheddar cheese; lowfat, diced
1 Kiwi fruit; peeled and quartered
¼ cup Pineapple tidbits; drained
1 tablespoon Chives; snipped
Lettuce leaves
1 large Pita bread round; split in half

To serve, place lettuce leaves in pita halves. Spoon the fruit and cheese mixture into pitas. Makes 2 servings.

NOTES : ½ cup strawberries may be subsituted for the kiwi fruit and green onion may be subsituted for the chives. This refreshing pita sandwich doubles easily to serve four hungry lunch eaters. Great on a HOT day.
