Glazed julienne of carrots~ turnips & rutabagas^

Ingredients

Quantity Ingredient
¾ pounds Carrots, julienned
¾ pounds Turnip, julienned
3 tablespoons Butter
2 tablespoons Sugar
2 tablespoons Water
½ pounds Rutabaga, julienned
2 cups Water
¼ teaspoon Salt
teaspoon Pepper

Directions

SAUCE

Bring vegetables and water to a boil; reduce heat, cover and simmer 10-12 minutes until crisp-tender; drain.

Combine sauce ingredients; bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Toss gently with vegetables, serve immediately.
