Grama's good pie crust

Ingredients

1½ | cup | Flour, sifted |
¼ | teaspoon | Baking powder |
½ | teaspoon | To 1 salt |
⅔ | cup | Lard or shortening |
3 | tablespoons | Sugar, if desired |
⅓ | cup | Cold water, about |
Directions
Sift together dry ingredients. Add fat and cut with tow knives or pastry blender until mealy. Stir in water until pastry leaves the sides of bowl. Divide into 2 balls. roll one to fit the pie tin, use the other for the top of the pie.
