Just 3 simple ingredients in this refreshing gelatin ring fill with
Cream-cheese Balls.
2 eaches 1-pound cans (4 cups) grapefruit segments
2 eaches Packages lemon-flavored gelatin
8 eaches Maraschino cherries
1 each Recipe Cream-cheese Balls
Drain grapefruit and add 70's enough water to the syrup to make 3 1/2 cups.
Heat half of the syrup mixture to boiling; add to gelatin and stir until
Dissolved. Add remaining syrup mixture; cool. Select 8 of best grapefruit
Segments. Arrange in bottom of 1 1/2-quart ring mold with maraschino

Meanwhile chill remaining gelatin mixture till partially set; add remaining grapefruit segments and carefully pour mixture over firm gelatin in mold. Chill till set. Unmold on platter; line center with endive and fill with Cream-cheese Balls: Soften one 8-ounce package cream cheese; add ½ cup chopped California walnuts. Form in ¾-inch balls; chill. Makes 8 to 10 servings.
